Usage Notes for FeCrAl Resistor

When using a FeCrAl Resistor, the first thing to note is matching the rated parameters; over-power and over-voltage operation must be avoided. Although FeCrAl Resistor is resistant to high temperatures, exceeding the rated power will cause rapid aging and even burnout, endangering circuit safety. During selection, it is necessary to consider actual working conditions and confirm that parameters such as resistance value and power are consistent with circuit requirements.
Ensure adequate ventilation and heat dissipation during installation. FeCrAl Resistor generates a lot of heat during operation; if installed in a closed space or a location with poor heat dissipation, heat accumulation will lead to excessive temperature and reduce service life. Meanwhile, the installation should be firm to avoid loose wiring caused by vibration, as poor contact may lead to local overheating.

In daily use, avoid contact with corrosive gases and liquids, as such substances will damage the anti-oxidation layer of the resistor and cause performance degradation. In addition, regularly inspect the resistor's appearance; if blackening, deformation or oxidation of the terminals is found, replace or handle it in a timely manner. Always cut off the power supply before maintenance to prevent electric shock risks.
