Working Principle

 

Stainless Steel Starting Resistor is connected in series to the motor's main circuit. At the moment of startup, its resistive elements divide voltage and limit current, effectively restraining the adverse effects of high starting current on the power grid and motor windings. As the motor speed increases gradually, the current in the circuit naturally declines. Once the resistor completes its current-limiting function, it is gradually short-circuited and disconnected, and the motor runs at its rated speed.
