They are commonly used in equipment such as inverters and welding machines, and are widely used in energy projects in the Middle East and Africa.

Corrugated resistors can be categorized by material, including nickel-chromium alloy, constantan alloy, and stainless steel. Nickel-chromium alloy corrugated resistors, due to their excellent high-temperature and oxidation resistance, are the mainstream choice in the high-end market, particularly favored by customers in Europe and North America. Constantan alloy resistors, with their low temperature coefficient, are suitable for precision measuring equipment and have a significant market share in the electronics manufacturing sectors of Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia. Stainless steel corrugated resistors offer low cost and strong corrosion resistance, making them widely used in cost-sensitive emerging markets such as India and Latin America.

In the international trade market, the classification of corrugated resistors directly influences their technical specifications, pricing, and target customer base. Suppliers must provide customized solutions based on regional industry standards and usage environments to meet the diverse needs of global customers.
